London: George Harrap, 1946. Book. Very Good ++. Quarter Leather. Signed by Author and Illustrator. First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. This is number 46 of 110 copies printed in Monotype Fournier on Millburn hand-made paper and signed by Nina Gooden and Stephen Gorden. It has an engraved title-page and one other full-page copper engraving by Stephen Gooden. Quarter black calf with gilt spine titling, with cream canvas sides that have some light shelwear marks, pages rough cut. A very good copy. Contents include Damocharis the Grammerian, Abu Shamaqmaq, T.S. Elliot, George Turberville, De La Fontaine, Mathew Prior, William Cowper, Shelley, Keats, Baudelaire, Rosamond Marriot Watson, Harold Monro, Edmond Rostand, William Rose Benet etc... (a wonderful anthology)..
