Sobre este artículo

New York: The Macmillan Company, 1922 xiv, [4], 137pp, bound in green cloth, with binding and hinges tight. INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR to W. D. Vincent, with Vincent's bookplate. William D. Vincent (1866-1935) was a collector of books and bookplates, an amateur historian, with focus on the Pacific NW. From Spokane, Washington, he was President of the Old National Bank of Spokane 1920-1933. This is the true story of Polaris, a dog the author received from Admiral Peary, gathered off of Flag Island in Casco Bay, where Peary's dogs that had pulled him to the Pole were living, this being one of the pups.

Wonderful story told by a most charming writer! You wish to be amongst them! But long ago now, so have to do with the writing and photos, perfection!
