Soft Cover. 126 pages: 5 x 7.5 in.: 0.8: KB#011165: Boards now protected by a new Brodart Archival Mylar Cover. Book is undated but is it indicated that it was printed in 1926 by R. Coulouma. Text is written in French, and this is the First French Edition and is a Limited First Edition (#112 of 1550). Page edges are untrimmed. Covers are red paper with black lettering and picture/emblems on front, back and spine, and are complete with very light fading along edges. Boards and pages are clean, unmarked, bright, tightly bound and sharp cornered. Scarce, Out Of Print, Book. "Politian (1835) is the only play known to have been written by Edgar Allan Poe, composed in 1835 but never completed. The play is a fictionalized version of a true event in Kentucky: the murder of Solomon P. Sharp by Jereboam O. Beauchamp in 1825. Poe, however, chose to set his version in 16th century Rome." .
