London: Pollock's Toy Theatre, 1963 Also includes "A Penny Plain and Twopence Coloured" by Robert Louis Stevenson. Aladdin is adapted from an old Toy Theatre play, published over a hundred years ago. The Characters and scenery show what the "Grand Romantic Spectacle" of Aladdin looked like when it was performed at the Theatre Royal, Covent Garden in 1826. Text for the Play Aladdin is also presented in French and German. The folding cardboard stage is also in Very Good Condition. The book is unpaginated, staple bound, some pages uncut, with 4 colour plates to be used with the theatre.
