The book itself shows the bottom edge shelf rubbed, marginal discoloration of the bottom and fore text-block edge, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text is clean and unmarked, and the boards remain bright and distinct. The dust jacket shows marginal shelf rubbing along the edges, reverse side slightly discolored, otherwise is not price-clipped remaining bright, colorful, and distinct. As pictured.
Sinopsis
Poor Fellow My Country is a Miles Franklin Award winning novel by Australian author Xavier Herbert. It is the longest Australian book ever written. Primarily, it is the story of Jeremy Delacy and his illegitimate grandson Prindy in the years leading up to World War II. It covers matter on Aboriginal affairs, Australian patriotism and nationalism; subjects also dealt with in Herbert's novel Capricornia.
