Type: Z 438pp. Illustrated with 17 full page plates (81 figures) of which 4 are coloured and 85 figures in the text. Coloured frontispiece plate. Gilt to top edge. Some mainly light soiling and rubbing to cloth covers. Several corners bumped. Bump to base of spine. Neat split to cloth along spine 3cms in length. Fraying head and tail of spine with several small splits in cloth to head of spine. Slight staining to front and rear pastedowns. Interesting book seller's plate - 'Thacker & Co.Ltd' Bombay. A relatively well preserved copy.
