Blake's relentless efforts brings him a load of trouble, threatening his life, his girlfriend and his career. First printing, first edition (with complete numberline). About 5 3/4 x 8 3/4 inches, 360 pages bound in grey, faux leather-paper-covered boards with silver lettering on spine. Dustjacket's front panel features partial b&w photo of baby carriage being wheeled over a flag-stoned area by a silhouetted figure with title and author in lower half of panel. Back panel shows photo of author in front of what appears to be a wrought-iron gate. Boards and text are clean, complete and unmarked, with no noticeable lor significant flaws or damage. Not ex-library, not remaindered. Dustjacket is also in excelletn condition with no creasing, bumping or tears. No clipped corners (original price located above bar code on back panel.). A collectable copy of one of the scarcest of Boyle's novels.
