Springfield, Mass.: The Patriot Publishing Company, 1910. First Edition. Very good+ in its original brown cloth covered boards with gilt text stamped on the spine and on the front board together with a black and white photograph of Lincoln. A small quarto measuring 10 1/2 by 7 1/2 inches with the front lower fore corner of the front board bumped, the cloth at the tips of the boards are lightly rubbed as is the cloth at the head and heel of the spine. The binding is tight with no loose or torn pages. 164 pages of text the last of which contains a reprint of Whitman's O Captain! My Captain! Illustrated throughout with black and white photographs of Lincoln and people and events surrounding his assassination.
