Hardcover. 8vo. 23cm, The First Edition, 101p., with 6 colour plates, 17 black & white drawings, light brown cloth, gilt cover and spine titles, in slip case with printed paper label, fine condition in very good slipcase (gar). ~ Six tales of waterfowl and quail hunting and bird dogs. Writings and illustrations by American etcher, Roland Clark, famous for his etchings and water colours of wild fowl and ducks. He was acclaimed for his design for the 1938 U.S. Duck Hunting Stamp.
