Sobre este artículo
London: W.Collins Sons & Co.Ltd, 1920. First Edition. Red Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾. N/a. 260pp. 1920. First edition. A true first edition with the advertisements dated spring 1920. Possibly Rose Macaulay's most famous book - which gave rise to the expression 'potterism'. Original publisher's cloth with gilt embossed title (oxidised) to the spine and to the front board. An original printer's flaw has left pages 202/203 , 206/207, 210/211, 214/215 blank with no type on them. A former owner's ink name, place and date to the front endpaper. The lower corner of the textblock towards the front of the book is a little rounded. A very good, tight copy.
