'From Potter's Field' is a crime fiction work and the sixth work to feature Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Kay Scarpetta, Patricia Cornwell's most renowned character.A descendent of abolitionist and author Harriet Beecher Stowe, Patricia Cornwell (b. 1956) is an American author of crime fiction whose works have sold more than one hundred million copies. She often writes about forensic science and investigation, and she has initiated research into the killings of Jack the Ripper. In the publisher's original full cloth binding, with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally lovely. Dust wrapper is in excellent condition, with only slight bumping to the head of the spine. Internally firmly bound, pages are bright and clean. Fine
