Bookplate of Guy Chapman, Savile Club, London on front pastedown. Later ink name, place and date on bookplate. Book label of Blackwell's, Oxford at foot of front pastedown. Binding a little rubbed. A tight, clean and otherwise unmarked copy. 437pp. + folded plan + 3 doulble page plans + 3 full page diagrams + folded map. Illustrations and charts in text. The bookplate is likeley that of Guy Chapman (1889-1972), acclaimed historian and World War One author..
