Large octavo, tan boards printed in green with a small circular pictorial label on upper cover, backed in black cloth, pp. [vii], [156]; illustrated with some plates in colour. Includes examples of published work by major illustrators such as Howard Pyle, E.A. Abbey and Clinton Balmer, as well as notes on cover designs, pictorial wrappers, spot wrappers, poster wrappers, mechanical reproduction and processes in colour. Previous owner's name neatly written upon endpaper, corners of covers are a little bumped, else very good in a price-clipped dust jacket, slightly chipped at the spine ends and the fore-edge of the rear panel..

We operate an open bookshop in Tamworth, Ontario. The shop is open daily in July and August from 11 am - 4 pm. We also maintain a general Antiquarian stock available online or by appointment only. Most of our online stock is not in the bookshop.
