Pl.7 is a new order invented by the author for a specific American use." Benjamin in an explanation notes, "My reasons for so doing proceed from the fact, that more than one half of all columns and entablatures erected in country situations.... belong neither to the Grecian nor Roman system." Scattered foxing throughout, chip at backstrip head.
