Vol. 2: Nice cover with slight spotting, signed by both Stephen Eno (May 18 1824 and Jonathan Holdeen (N 23 1935), some foxing and notations in ink, Good Plus. Stephen Eno practiced law in Pine Plains, N.Y. and was a prominent lawyer in Duchess County. Jonathan Holdeen (1881-1967), who resided in Pine Plains and had an office in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., was the eccentric, penny-pinching, millionaire lawyer who set up 2.8 million dollars in trusts to make Pennsylvania a tax-free state (an idea inspired by Benjamin Franklin).
