Sobre este artículo
Chicago: Laird & Lee, (1897). First edition. Introduction by Adrien Adolphe Desbarrolles. Two volumes. "Over 1100 illustrations," though we didn't count them. Three-quarter red leather with red cloth boards. All edges gilt. Spine ends chipped and frayed and spine edges worn. Appears hinges were glued at some point. Still a presentable binding with attractive patterned endpapers and the inside is fine (clear and clean). Seemingly scarce if not rare, and certainly interesting.
