The story of the first "party of pleasure to the rocky mountains" led by Sir William Drummond in 1843. Light brown cloth covered boards, frontispiece of Fort Laramie, maps and other illustrations. Very good + in VG+ dust jacket. Head and heel of spine no longer crisp, trace wear to bottom tips of boards, very light bump to top edge of front board. Dust jacket has light shelf wear with some rubbing to bottom edge of spine panel, 3 numbers in ink on bottom edge of front flap.
