Sobre este artículo

Kansas City Star Books (Stated 1st Edition, 2010). HARDCOVER. No dust jacket issued. Like new condition: clean, unmarked, binding tight. Gift quality.

ABOUT THE BOOK: In her brief life, Mary White's spunk and spirit left their mark on her hometown. After she died in a riding accident, her father poured his heart and his renowned storytelling skills into a loving essay that left its mark on American literature. William Allen White was a small-town newspaper editor with a national reputation as an author. Because of the compelling and often reprinted article he wrote about his daughter s life and untimely death, Mary White like Peter Pan has stayed forever young and alive. Using White s essay as a framework, author Beverley Buller tells about the life of Mary White in A Prairie Peter Pan: The Story of Mary White.. Buller is also author of a book about White's life, From Emporia: The Story of William Allen White, published in 2007.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Born and raised in Winfield, Kansas, Beverley Olson Buller is a teacher and librarian. She is the author of four books. "From Emporia: The Story of William Allen White" and "A Prairie Peter Pan: The Story of Mary White" were both named Kansas Notable Books and chosen for the Kansas Reading Circle catalog and the William Allen White Award master lists. She remains chairman of the selection committee for the William Allen White Children's Book Awards, serves on the William Allen White Community Partnership Board and talks about William Allen White for the Humanities Kansas Speakers Bureau.
