Sobre este artículo

A gorgeous first edition, first printing of the Englsih translation by Mat Jayyusi and Jeremy Reed of Palestinian novelist and poet Ibrahim Nasrallah's first novel, Prairies of Fever. Black cloth boards and silver gilt lettering in glossy dustjacket, near fine. Full number line. Listed by the Guardian as one of the 10 most important novels of the Arab world, the novel refuses chronology and sequence, with a mirrored doubling of the main character's life in another, the parallel times illustrate the the grinding time of colonial occupation and diaspora. Very scarce in hardcover.

All proceeds from the sale of this book will be split between Gaza Mutual Aid Soldiarity and Blackbird Infoshop.
