Dustjacket in overall Very Good minus condition, two enclosed rips along the seam of the front panel, spine end extremities chipped, top spine is chipped, light overall aging; looks very good in brodart protective sleeve. The dustjacket is printing on low quality paper, it's nice to find one in any condition. "Ellington Air Force Base; Ground Safety Deps; Dec. 1953" is penned in lead based ink on the ffep and grounds the history on this piece. One lead based ink dot that bleeds through page 47 to 48, top edge lightly toned, else pages are clean & unmarked. No date of publication. Information in the publication goes up to 1858. Lawyer and judge Garrick Mallery (1784-1866) served in the Pennsylvania legislature from 1827 to 1830 and was chairman of the Committee of Ways and Means when the Bank of Pennsylvania was rechartered in 1830. He was the father of Garrick Mallery (1831-1894), an ethnologist who specialized in Native American sign language. This publication relating to the demise of the Bank of Pennsylvania during the financial panic of 1857-1858 is very scarce. In Very Good- Condition: disbound; last leaf is detached but present; foxing, heavy on pp. 19-20; otherwise, clean and tight.

He became the first full-time professor of law at University of Cape Town in 1920, holding the chair until 1945, and lecturing chiefly on Roman-Dutch law. Many judges in South Africa and Rhodesia studied under him. Wille was one of the best-known legal writers in South Africa. Hannum (1915-2007) was a U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania from 1969 to 1991. Leo H.
