Sobre este artículo
From the Editors' Preface: "The aim of the American Presidency Series is to present historians and the general reading public with interesting, scholarly assessments of the various presidential administrations."
From the front dust jacket flap: "This new interpretation of the Eisenhower presidency challenges the widely held notion that Dwight D. Eisenhower was a passive, uninformed, uninterested chief executive, surrounded and isolated by a 'palace guard' who made the real decisions of his administration.Based on research in newly opened portions of Eisenhower's papers, this book presents a needed perspective on the policies and programs of the Eisenhower era by clarifying Eisenhower's personal role in policy-making. ...[his] philosophy about the uses of presidential power."
Book - Good- condition. Blue cloth covers. Front and back end papers are broken as spine, but still attached. Ex library - has library pocket and stamps. Medium stain on front end papers, but text pages are clean. Text block binding is good.
Dust Jacket - Good condition. Slight edge/corner wear. Library sticker on spine. In clear protective cover that has some rubbing and bumping. Dust jacket is stuck to book - not sure how - maybe glue or double stick tape.
Good reading copy.
