Spine glue beginning to crack; wraps beginning to separate with front having a fairly deep (approximately 6-inch) crack. Wraps are fragile. Back of title page has pencil handwriting / notation that appears to accompany a laid-in postcard illustrated with a Batetela wood carving. Pages remain fairly bright. Remains tightly bound. A scarce catalogue of this important exhibition, the first exhibition of African Art in the United States.
