There was an attempted assassination of Prince Alfred by the radicalised Irish terrorist, Henry O'Farrell while the Prince was in Sydney. This act had long-term repercussions for Australia then and now. A little creasing of the book corners with rubbing of the book edges and panels stop minor age toning of the text block edges and pages.
