Mark Twain [Samuel L. Clemens]. The Prince and the Pauper. A Tale for Young People of All Ages. Boston: Charles L. Webster and Company, 1885. First U. S. edition, Webster issue, using the original sheets, purchased after James R. Osgood went bankrupt, and a cancel title-leaf; text corrected (second state). Octavo (8.25 x 6.5 inches; 210 x 165 mm.). [2, blank], 411, [3, blank] pages. Full page and in-text illustrations throughout.
