Sobre este artículo

Bristol / London: J.W. Arrowsmith / Simpkin, Marshall, [et al.], 1893. Very good plus.. Large paper presentation copy of this original tale of fairies by the fairy tale taste-maker of Victorian nurseries. Deluxe issue of Lang's sequel to PRINCE PRIGIO (1889), set in Lang's own created fairy-tale world, Pantouflia. Already scarce in this format, it is especially rare in nice condition. Quarto, 10'' x 7.5''. Original half vellum, brown cloth boards, printed paper spine labels. Butterfly-patterned endpapers. Illustrated by Browne with 12 full-page black-and-white images and further in-text images. "Presentation Copy" printed on early leaf. 204 pages. Ink gift inscription dated 1967 on verso of front fly leaf. Vellum somewhat toned. Faintest foxing to title page, else clean and bright.
