Sobre este artículo
New York: E.P. Dutton & Company, 1892. This is a Very Good copy of the First Edition, an uncommon to rare title. Ida Nichols only had two published works; while Mary DeMorgan was well-known and fairly prolific, this edition is not generally known as part of her canon. Green decorative cloth binding, with the titling on the front cover in black and gilt, along with the representation of a cameo in pink and white; the spine titles are black and gilt. Clean text; 256 pages, all ends giult; decorative endpapers. 29 illustrations "reproduced by the new half-tone process." The illustrations appear to have been hand-coloured in an expert way. Rather light soiling, more at the margins. Corners lightly bumped, and a slight lean. Quite attractive, and lacking any juvenalia.. First Edition. Decorative Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
