Marking and light staining to boards, rebacked with new grey cloth spine and new endpapers. Pages heavily browned and brittle with loss, chipping and tears to margins of several pages. Seven of the illustrations have been coloured in crayon, gift inscription to retained front pastedown endpaper dated Christmas 1888. A rare Victorian fairytale book. Overall condition is Fair.
