Some spots of fore-edge foxing but generally a nice copy. Combe was an Edinburgh born physiologist and phrenologist who became physician to King Leopold 1 of Belgium and later one of the physicians extraordinary to the Queen in Scotland. This work found great favour and went through several editions in the 19th century.
