Sobre este artículo

McGraw-Hill Book Co.:, 1946. First published in 1944, this book is the second edition from 1946. "The MIT Radar School was established in June, 1941, under the direction of Dr. Wilmer Barrow, for the purpose of training a selected group of Army and Navy officers in the principles and techniques of ultra-short-wave and microwave radar. Because of the rapid development of radar during the past few years, many of the circuits described in the first edition have become obsolete. Therefore, in an attempt to improve the presentation of the subject matter and to bring the book up to date, a second edition has been prepared. In the second edition, the chapters on Timing Circuits, Indicators, Modulators, Transmit-Receive Devices, and Synchros and Servomechanisms have been completely rewritten. The changes which have been made in thses chapters include the addition of new matieral, the revision and rearrangement of material retained from the first edition, and the deletation of many of the circuits used only in prototype or obsolete radar systems. The section on Automatic Frequency Control had been revised and expended, and the section on Impedance Matching is presented from a different viewpoint. The subject of Propagation, which was not covered in the first edition, had been included, and the derivation of the radar-range equation had been added. Also many other articles throughout the book have been rewritten either to improve the presenation or to bring the material up to date." VERY GOOD HARDCOVER.. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Dust Jacket Present.. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
