Sobre este artículo

Swansea: The David Jones Society. As New with no dust jacket. 2002. First Edition. Paperback. NO Date, but this copy came from the Library of the late Arthur Giardelli, the well-known Artist, and includes a small loose leaf biro note from the Author, and SIGNED by her, addressed to Arthur and Bim, his wife, and DATED 14: xi: 2. Glossy illustrated card covers on a two-tone fawn/cream base. The front cover has a small illustration of Jones' watercolour painting of "Garden at Rock", Rock Hall, Northumberland. NO other Inscriptions or marks. Internally Fine. 24 b/w and colour plates illustrate David Jones' work throughout this 28 page booklet. Produced with the support of The School of Art & Design, Swansea Institute of Higher Education. This booklet accompanying this exhibition examined the interrelationships of text and image in David Jones's long poem 'The Anathemata: Fragments of an Attempted Writing'. An Excellent copy - with an added Extra - a SIGNED note from the Author, who also comments that she hopes the Giradellis will like the work and that "Lucky you - you'll be in Venice next year for the 'Biennalle' and Wales's first appearance! ... ". This also dates the book, as the first 'Biennalle' for Wales was in 2003. See Images. ; Square 8vo 8" to 9" tall; Signed by Author .
