Chicago: Fleming H. Revell, 1896. In green cloth covers and stamped illustration of a girl , trees, and clouds with dark green plants and lettering on front cover and green lettering on spine. Square and intact binding. Clean and unmarked text pages. Foxing on front cover and some discoloration on rear cover. Moderate shelf wear. Beautifully written two page note glued to front free endpaper and dated 1897 by Mary Rhoads Haines (1819-1905), a teacher in the Quaker schools of Philadelphia teacher and who wrote 'Clovercroft Chronicles". Photos upon request. . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
