Sobre este artículo
Jonathan Ball Publishers, Johannesburg, 1990. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. signed. Inscribed by Author(s)173 pages (complete). A rare copy of this book. It is not only inscribed by Lang but is also signed by Pinkie Hill. In addition there are the signatures of many of Hill's friends, all of them the great and powerful in the Johannesburg Mining world, but also academia. Those that are legible are of: Ken Steele, Dr W. S. Rapson, Reinald Hofmeyr, Barrington Mudd, Tony Petersen, George Nisbet (who was president of the South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy when Hill was awarded its prestigious Brigadier Stokes Memorial Award (he was the third to receive it)), T. L. Gibbs, Professor Robert ('Bob') Charlton (who was Vice-Chancellor of the University of the Witwatersrand) and most significantly, HARRY OPPENHEIMER. The dustjacket has a clear cellophane protective cover. The dj has mild edge wear. The board cover has shelf pulls to the head and foot. Inside there is evidence of usage. The title page has a mild surface mark. Otherwise the contents are clear, clean, content, relaxed and genial. fk. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
