Adelaide, Sullivan's Cove, n.d.. First Limited Edition; 8vo; pp. 62; original cloth, title lettered in gilt on spine, dustjacket, a fine copy. Private press. Limited edition of 135 numbered copies. The despatches, journal, and summary are from Sturt's manuscripts in the Archives office of New South Wales. The despatches are dated between November 1829 and May 1830; the journal - Sturt's transcription from his original covers the period 25 November to 2 January; and the summary is dated 23 July 1830. In the absence of his original manuscript journal they are the earliest record of the important Murray River expedition.
