The Journal Company. Milwaukee., 1950 Book size about 9 by 11 inches with some 177 pages. Bound in illustrated red cloth. In the original dust wrapper with front cover price of $2.50. Wrapper enclosed in a removable clear plastic protector. Illustrated throughout with numerous drawings and photos, mostly in color. Story of the pioneer use of 'Run-Of-Press' color in the newspaper business as promoted by the Milwaukee Journal. Early use of color in newspaper advertising was expensive compared to the usual black/white and this book is about the Journal efforts to convince advertisers of its advantages. Book and wrapper with light wear. VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD. 1st Edition.. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good.
