Illustrated dustwrapper with dark red and black coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. The facts were that a murder was committed, on Guy Fawkes night, by a group of Teddy Boys. What one of the witnesses found, Hugh Bennett, a reporter for the local newspaper, " ... discovers that telling the truth is not as easy as it seems, and that landing a newspaper scoop can involve agonising moral problems." -- from the front fold over panel blurb. Minor softening to the backstrip with bumping to the top book corners. Some browning of the backstrip edges. Browning and foxing to the textblock edges and age toning of the pages. Offset tanning to the endpapers and previous owners details to the free front end paper. The residue of paper can be seen on the rear endpapers and to the half title page, which is also ghosted on to the title page. A little creasing to the dustwrapper edges with rubbing of the dustwrapper panels. Some marks to the rear panel. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. [4], 5-256 pages..
