New York, N.Y.: Scribner & Company, 1879 102 plates, engravings, suitable for framing. All edges gilt. Gilt stamped titles. Black stamped profile of Gutenberg, Bewick, and Holbein. Front hinge is split from the textblock. Leather spine and corners are worn. Edge wear and bumps to the cloth boards with some bottom edge board exposure. Textblock is damp stained at the bottom edge with intrusion around one inch in spots. Pages are very clean otherwise. . Hard Cover, Half Leather. Fair. Folio - 12 1/4 X 16.
