Light wear to spine ends and tips; board just peeking through cloth at bottom front corner. Former owner's name neatly inked on front free endpaper and stamped at base of title page. Unclipped jacket shows light wear and toning. A very good (+) copy in like jacket. Collects the twelve papers read at a "gathering of philosophers in Easter Week 1959 at Downside Abbey." Includes contributions from D.A. Rees, J.S. Dickie, and others.

All books ship free with tracking to domestic addresses via USPS Media Mail. In most cases, delivery takes place within a three to ten day window, although the vicissitudes of USPS may apply. Unless otherwise requested, expedited domestic purchases ship via USPS Priority Mail; overseas orders via USPS First Class International. Heavy or oversized books may incur additional shipping charges, as may books shipped to overseas destinations. Any additional charges required will be communicated promptly.
We take safe shipping very seriously; all of our books are packaged in new cardboard boxes amply cushioned with biodegradable packing peanuts. Pamphlets and other flat materials items are ocassionally shipped in bubble-mailers with internal cardboard supports. All books with dust jackets are fitted with brand new archival protectors prior to shipping.
