Sobre este artículo

Adelaide: H F Leader, 1888. First Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Excellent. Rare early educational handbook for mineral prospecting, especially gold. First printing [H F Leader, Adelaide, 1888] aimed at educating the public to increase the efficient processing of valuable minerals in South Australia. An excellent copy; brown boards; black inlaid borders & titling; slightly rubbed; v. minor blemishes to rear; offsetting to title page, else fine. George A Goyder was the eldest son of George W Goyder, pioneering Surveyor who established the Goyder Line separating mid-north agricultural land from arid land more suitable for grazing stock. Written early in his career in his role with the Government Assay Office, G A Goyder was highly regarded for his research into & development of efficient processes for extracting valuable minerals using cyanide.
