Sobre este artículo

[London:]: Printed for and published by the Rev. J. Trusler, and sold at the Literary-Press, 1790. First edition. With fifty woodcuts by John Bewick, younger brother of Thomas Bewick, which are of course moralizing but also humorous, as to be relatable to the intended, youthful audience. Trusler states in the preface that Bewick's woodcuts "knew how to illustrate the follies and vices of man better than most men."

12mo. viii, 196pp. ESTC T93463. Opie B 328. Very good in contemporary half-leather over marbled boards, top edge gilt, a bit rubbed with some wear to upper joint, discrete nineteenth-century library stamp to pastedown.
