Well worn yet still readable. Hinge splits front and rear. The front split has resulted in the free endpaper to the frontispiece coming loose. Tan fabric over the boards is worn along many edges and deteriorating at the top and bottom of the spine (see photos). Pages are fairly tight and unmarked. The copyright date is the date of first publication, which Grosset & Dunlap didn't do much of. They weren't good at giving publication dates. Not sure when this volume was published, but sometime after 1915. Still rather rare, though.
