Sobre este artículo

New York, NY: The Philosophical Library, 1945 The Philosophical Library, New York. 1945. Hardcover. First Edition. Book is tight, square, and unmarked but for F/O name, occupation, city, and date acquired on the FFFP. Book Condition: Near Fine; light bumping to head and tail. No DJ. Blue grained cloth boards and spine with gilt lettering on the spine; gilt lettering in a blue shadowbox on the front board. Tan endpapers. Blue textblock top. Clean internals; interior hinges are sound and not split. 240 pp 8vo. This book is being produced mostly to showcase the research and findings of the Visual Research Laboratories at Drake University, IA. The organization of the book is designed to serve four practical ends: 1) Call attention to ocular photography as scientific approach to the study of human behavior. 2) Add new information to the already known principles of the psychology of seeing. 3) Make available to educators, artists, advertisers, oculists, optometrists, lighting engineers, and vocational counselors such findings as may be applicable to their respective fields. 4) Provide an inspiration to all those pursuing the studies of ocular performance (Ocular Science, Physiological Optics) and their psychological implications. The book deals lucidly with a technical subject. Enough background is given in each chapter to enable the reader to understand the findings. It is a volume that will not only be useful to the professional psychologist, but also to others interested in a wide range of 'eye-related' occupations and endeavors. A clean very presentable copy.
