Sobre este artículo

Oliver and Boyd Ltd, Edinburgh and London, 1951. Third Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Good Condition/Poor. preface by author, five appendices and index. The text is illustrated with either black and white line drawings or two coloured line drawings. Green coloured boards with dark blue writing on the front panel and spine. Plain text dustwrapper, with bone coloured background and red writing on the front panel and spine. A small book published in 1950s and teaching children to read. Those of us who remember "The Wide Range" readers will recognise the illustrations within, as the author was the author of those set of books as well. Bumping to the head and to the heel of the spine and the book corners have become rubbed and frayed. There has been bleaching of the cloth to the head and to the heel of the spine, book corners, spine and bottom book edges. The cloth of the book is somewhat rubbed and there is a hint of foxing. Offset tanning to the endpapers and the internal pages are very, very slightly brown. Original owner's name on the top edge of the few front end paper. The dustwrapper is rubbed, faded and quite dirty. Chipping, with loss, to the dustwrapper corners and to the head and to the heel of the spine. The spine of the dustwrapper is very affected by sun, causing darkening and causing it to become very brittle. It has almost completely come away from the front panel ( dustwrapper now protected in the library plastic ). On the lower one third of the spine there is a green sticker still in insitu. Price clipping to the dustwrapper, front fold over, lower right-hand corner. Size: 12mo (standard paperback). 155 pages,. Dust Jacket price-clipped. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 500 grams. Category: Education; Psychology & Psychiatry. Inventory No: 0103224. .
