Moskva, Isdatelstvo Akademii NAUK SSSR, 1951-1960. Four parts in four. Large 8vo (26.3 x 17.5 cm). 1,295 pp. [281;344;255;415]; 555 [137;127;103;188] text illustrations. Uniform publisher's quarter cloth over printed boards. This forms the complete bird part of the famous Opredeliteli po fauna SSSR. The last two volumes were written by L. A. Portenko, who was one of the co authors of the first two parts. Well-illustrated. In Russian with Latin nomenclature. Two printed errata leaves tipped in. Slight wear to corners and spine tops; otherwise a very good, complete set.
