Anissonios, Joannem Posuel, Et Claudium Rigaud,. Used - Very Good. . Leiden, 1689. 4 volumes (complete). Full vellum, ruled and decorated in blind. Printed in 4to, with wide margins (leaves are approx. 175 by 240 mm). Over 2000 pp. in all (the fourth, Index volume, is not paginated). Each title page printed in red and black, with an engraved vignette. Vellum age-darkened and moderately soiled, but very sound and sturdy. Scattered foxing in the text, mostly in margins. Each volume has a small bookseller's label on the front pastedown; vol. 1 also has two prev. owner's signatures, one from the 19th and one from the 20th century. Overall, a handsome and well preserved set. (Subject: Ancient, Roman Literature.)
