Sobre este artículo
New York: Keppler & Schwarzmann, 1907. First Edition. Very good, a bright image. Original color lithograph by Frank H. Nankivell, the cover measures 10" x 13.75";. Illustration shows a woman labeled "Wall Street" as a nursery rhyme figure, possibly Little Bo Peep, pulling paper petals of a paper flower that are labeled "Tight Money" and "Easy Money", as she says "He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not". The center of the flower shows a medallion that states "In Shaw We Trust", but with a line drawn through "Shaw". Her bodice is labeled "Stock Exchange". George B. Cortelyou, dressed as an Elizabethan suitor, is looking over her shoulder.Puck was the first successful humor magazine in the United States of colorful cartoons, caricatures and political satire of the issues of the day. It was published from 1871 until 1918.
