Near Fine in a Good jacket, clipped, generally rubbed and toned, a few closed tears and chips, including a sizable one at the center of the spine. Blue-green cloth, faded and toned at the edges, with black ink panels and lettering on the spine. Square and firmly bound with a red top stain, some toning to the endpapers, clean otherwise. Lessing's novel about "the lusty, quarrelsome, unscrupulous, funny, pathetic, full-bloodied life in a working-class rooming house.
