Bayley is best known for her illustrations of cats with her popular work 'The Mousehole Cat'. This work follows the courageous and boot wearing cat on his adventures. In the publisher's original pictorial hardback. Externally lovely with only a slight lean and a price label to the rear. Internally firmly bound with only very minor offsetting to pp. 2 due to newspaper clippings relating to Nicola Bayley that have been loosely inserted. Pages bright and clean with pop up illustrations in fine condition. Fine

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
