Book #3 in this short-lived (12-volumes, 1948-1958) girls' series written by Betty Cavanaugh under the pseudonym Betsy Allen, each featuring a "color" in the title connected to a new mystery confronting heroine Connie Blair, a career girl working at an advertising agency in Philadelphia, PA. Orig. published in n1948, this is a later printing, listing to book #12 in & to VB#12 on back DJ flap. Hardcover 12mo has tan cloth-covered boards with darker brown decoration & lettering to front & spine, in 213 pages + plain frontispiece. Condition is VG+: completely clean & unmarked, binding strong with slight rightward lean, both hinges secure. Mild corner bumping. The unclipped DJ is VG, with mild rubbing to extremities & very small chips & creases to both ends of spine; nicely protected in new clear mylar cover free!
