This story about a penniless waiter from Mumbai who from living in the poorest conditions possible went on to win India's biggest quiz show. The novel went on to inspire the film 'Slumdog Millionaire' which became a smash hit with audiences. CONDITION: The covers are bright and solid as this the spine. The white areas of the covers are slightly dusty and the spine has a gentle superficial crease. Contents are age toned to edges otherwise clean and unmarked. Image of Vikas Swarup to rear of back cover. Fore-edge of textblock is sporadically lightly darkened. A solid item all round. Not exlib and packed and sent with care.
