Sobre este artículo

N.p.: John Coulter, 1901. Hardcover. Small 4to. Blue cloth with elaborate gilt lettering and black-and-white plate tipped to front board. 566pp. Frontispiece, numerous illustrations. Good plus. Some edge- and minor corner wear; cracked front inner hinge expertly and archivally strengthened, thus tight. Despite wear, a tight and fairly attractive first edition of this popular, well-illustrated and oft-reprinted biography -- internally quite lovely, bright and handsome.
